FALSE TELEPHONE CALL ATTRIBUTED TO FEDELE CONFALONIERI

WARNING TO ALL MEDIA

With reference to the publication on the internet of a presumed telephone conversation between Fedel Confaloniere and Silvio Berlusconi, the chairman of Mediaset has declared that it is a falsification and an evident attempt to seriously damage the reputations of the people involved.

Fedele Confalonieri has therefore issued a warning to all media to desist from the publication, in whole or in part, of this false telephone call, the publication of which would be seriously and gratuitously defamatory. Anyone who chooses to proceed with publication can expect that all appropriate legal action will be taken in the competent quarters.
