On, Monday  8 March 2010, marking the ninth anniversary of Tgcom, a special appointment for users of Qui Mediaset. From 3 to 3.30 pm the editor of the title Paolo Liguori will be the protagonist of "Live Web" on QUIMEDIASET (www.mediaset.it/quimediaset), the communication area of the Mediaset.it web site, dedicated to news and "behind the scenes" from the world of television.

Biographical note
Rome-born journalist, editor since 2003 of one of Italy's leading news portals (with almost 10 million unique users in January!) Paolo Liguori is a well known face in TV journalism, but also an expert and a trail blazer in the new frontier of multimedia journalism. He was the editor of Studio aperto, personally producing the "Fatti e misfatti" section, which became the title of a blog started in 2007 (www.paololiguori.com). A successful polemicist, also in football, with his sharpness and dedication to Roma, he became a fixture in the sports programme "Controcampo".  "Graffi quotidiani" is the name of a radio slot that he has from Monday to Friday on Radio 101. Before working in television he was an established commentator in print; a special correspondent of Il Giornale under the founding editor Indro Montanelli, and subsequently the editor of Sabato and Il Giorno. He has also been engaged for year in the training of young communication professionals and is director of the laboratory at the School of Journalism of the Master Campus Multimedia, a consortium created by the IULM University in Milan and Mediaset; he also teaches multimedia publishing at the LUMSA University in Rome.

"Qui Mediaset", the site run by Mediaset's Department of Communications, offers in real time, archived and catalogued press releases issued by the Mediaset Group, full video recordings o the most important press conferences featuring the stars and management of the company and exclusive clips that highlight events, rehearsals and backstage photo shoots. In the photo gallery the most popular TV stars are seen in non-official moments of their TV life. There are also interviews, comment and exclusive chat with TV managers and journalists.
