"MEDIASET NEWS TO DEBUT ON THE WEB"

Paolo Liguori, the editor of Tgcom, and Yves Confalonieri, the head of RTI Interactive Media, to mark the ninth anniversary of Tgcom took part in a live web discussion on QUI MEDIASET. Liguori was responding to questions from users about the new editorial initiatives of Tgcom, his professional experience and the future of multimedia journalism. "From today gossip - said Liguori - is no longer simply a page of Tgcom, but a stand alone site, independent of the portal. It was something that could be separated because it had become a premium product thanks t the traffic of a continuously growing number of users".

Also participating in the live discussion was Yves Confalonieri, the head of RTI Interactive Media, who announced the debut on the web of new news products: "a new news programme will be launched next week - announced Confalonieri - specially created for the web, with all of the video content produced by Mediaset News. So not only will we be able to offer all of the news bulletins and live coverage by Liguori, but also original content produced by the journalists of the new agency headed by Mario Giordano".
