Shareholders are granted a tax credit in compliance with article 14 of DPR 22-12-86 n. 917 and later amendments for the years 2002 and 2003. Starting from 2004 a new law (Riforma Tremonti) is in force. For further information download the Shareholders' Guide.

N.B. Traditionally Mediaset Group's Board of Directors releases a proposal for a dividend amount and date of payment by the end of March of each year (Announcement date).

Mediaset AGM, when approving Full Year Report (usually from April to May of each year) sets:
 

• The date on which the Dividend Coupon is detached and its reference number (Coupon detach date ? according to the Italian Stock exchange regulation, the first day of open market following the third Friday of each solar month). On such date the company stock is traded ex-dividend (Ex-date). Therefore the  third Friday of each solar month is the latest date on which a shareholder is entitled to be paid a dividend (approximately Record date in UK and US).
   
• The value amount of dividend is calculated on the third day of open market following one of the detach coupon dates resulting from the Stock Exchange Calendar (Value date).
