Mauro Crippa was born in Rome on 26th April 1959.

A professional journalist, he joined IBM Italia in 1984 as a specialist in internal and external communications.

In 1987 he was appointed Head of the Press Office of Arnoldo Mondadori Editore.

He moved to the Fininvest Group in 1994 as Director of Press Relations. 

Since October 1996, he has been Director of Communications and Press Relations at the Mediaset Group.

He is Director of Mediaset spa, RTI spa, Società Europea Editrice, which publishes the national daily newspaper Il Giornale, and CFN (Class Financial Network).

He is currently Mediaset's General Manager News.
