Attilio Ventura
Born on 6 February 1936.
He has a degree in economics and business administration from the Catholic University of Milan. He has taught advanced course in economics and finance at Seton Hall University in South Orange (US) and at Merrill Lynch in New York.
He became a registered trader in 1967 and since 1981 has been a member of the advisory board of the Traders' Association.
At Borse Valori he was, from 1985 to 1988 deputy chairman of the, from 1988 to 1992 chairman of the executive board and, from 1992 to 1995, chairman of the board of directors.
From 1996 to 1998 he was a member of the board of directors of Banca Nazionale del Lavoro SpA.
Since 2004 he has been deputy chairman of the "Fondazione Aretè" at the San Raffaele hospital in Milan.
He is currently a member of the board of directors of Mediaset SpA and of Aedes s.g.r.e Ceresio Sim.
